Privacy Policy
Effective September 3, 2026. Go For The Gold Media, goforthegoldmedia.com
Go For The Gold Media ("we", "us") provides marketing services: websites, search visibility, advertising management, and reporting. This policy explains what we collect through goforthegoldmedia.com, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It also explains how we handle data inside the advertising and analytics accounts we manage for clients.
Information you give us
We only collect what you choose to send. Through the forms on this site, that is:
- Your name and email address.
- Your business or practice name and city, where the form asks for it.
- Anything you write in a message or question field.
- Scheduling details if you book a call with us.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive personal information through this website. That includes health information, government identifiers, and payment card numbers.
Information collected automatically
- Standard analytics about your visit: pages viewed, approximate region, referring source, device and browser type, and time on page. We use Google Analytics for this.
- Security and delivery data from Cloudflare, which hosts and protects this site and screens form submissions for automated abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
How we use it
- To reply to you and to prepare for a conversation you requested.
- To send you the report or materials you asked for.
- To operate and improve this website.
- To meet legal and record-keeping obligations.
We do not send marketing email to people who did not ask to hear from us, and any email we do send includes a way to stop receiving it.
Service providers
We use a small number of established providers to run this site and our business. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:
- Cloudflare, for hosting, security, and bot protection.
- Google Analytics, for website measurement.
- Our form and workflow tooling, which delivers your submission to us by email and stores a backup record so an inquiry is never lost.
- Our scheduling tool, if you book a call.
- Email and business software used to correspond with you and keep records.
Client accounts we manage
When a client engages us to manage advertising, analytics, or a website, we work inside accounts the client owns. In that work:
- The client remains the owner and controller of their own accounts and data.
- We access advertising and website performance data such as spend, clicks, conversions, and traffic sources.
- We do not upload customer lists, patient lists, or health information to advertising platforms. Advertising platforms do not accept health information, and we are not built to send it.
- For clients in regulated health professions, information held by the practice remains under the practice's custody, and applicable privacy law continues to apply to it.
- We use Google's official, read-only reporting integrations to retrieve advertising performance data for reporting and diagnosis.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to answer you and to keep an accurate business record, and client work records for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable period afterward. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to correct or delete it.
- Ask us to stop contacting you.
- Control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on.
To make any of these requests, use the contact form and tell us what you would like us to do. We respond to requests within a reasonable time.
Security
We protect information with access controls, encrypted connections, and credentials that are never shared or published. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Children
This site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
International visitors
We operate from North America and work with clients in Canada and the United States. Information you send may be processed in either country, and where a client engagement requires data to remain in a specific country, we arrange that as part of the engagement.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here.
